End-Of-The-Year Campaign 2011

Dear Triumph Foundation Friends,

Thank You for another year of loyalty and continued support! Your contributions and encouragement have made it possible for us to lend a helping hand to local families touched by autism. Each year, more than 36,000 babies are born in the United States with an Autism Spectrum Disorder!

Baby Justin was only 12 months old when his parents began having concerns: “Why isn’t he playing with his toys like the other babies… why is he not sleeping and eating like his brothers… shouldn’t he be making more baby sounds?” By 15 months, there were more concerns: “Why isn’t he saying Mama and Dada… why won’t he look at us when we call his name?” By the age of 24 months, the shocking and heartbreaking news came…“Mr. and Mrs. Greene, your son has Pervasive Developmental Disorder, a form of Autism,” the doctor said, in a very matter-of-fact tone. “What do we do now… what kind of future will my child have… will he live a normal life?” the Greene’s asked, frantically. The doctor simply replied, “I don’t know, every child is different”.

For parents, the diagnosis of autism is terrifying. There are so many questions but very few answers.  The Triumph Foundation helps provide greatly needed support, advocacy and education to families through programs such as Support Groups, Workshops and Camps. During this Holiday Season, we earnestly request for you to consider The  Triumph Foundation in your end of year giving. Every donation helps change the life of a local child with autism. You can make a difference!

You can contribute by clicking on the Donate button below, sending a check to P.O. Box 21112, St. Simons Island, Georgia, 31522 or calling (912) 638-7100.

Thank you for your steadfast support,
